Description:
The Radford University Department of Theatre presents The Velveteen Rabbit adapted by James Still on Saturday, December 1st in the Pridemore Playhouse. There will be two showtimes at 10 am and 2 pm.

The Velveteen Rabbit is theatre intended for young audiences.

James Still’s retelling of the much-loved story by Margery Williams shows a young man recalling his relationship with his favorite childhood toy, the velveteen rabbit. Through this memory he experiences the poignancy of loss and learns of the surprising wonders of love.

Tickets go on sale the week prior to the event at the Porterfield Box Office or by calling (540) 831-5289. The Box Office is open Monday through Friday, noon to 6 pm and one hour before each performance.
