The 5th Annual Summer Solstice Fest will take place on Saturday, June 23rd in downtown Blacksburg. Featuring numerous activities and entertainment for the whole family including a 5K race and Sand Castle Contest.

Scheduled Activities include:
• Downtown Sundown 5k Run
• Sand Sculpture Contest
• Burnt Creative Indie & Vintage Craft Fair
• Dog Parade
• Beer Garden
• Food Vendors
• Dancing
• Carnival with fairground rides
• Belly Dancing
• Wing Eating Contest
• Fire Dancing
• and a whole lot more!

• The Alliens
• The Key West Band

The event will take place on Main Street between Roanoke and Washington Street, and on Lee Street between Church Street and Draper Road and Draper Road between Roanoke Street and the Kent Square Parking Garage.

The Summer Solstice Fest is a DEQ Certified Virginia Green Event.
