Description:
The Christiansburg High School Music Department presents Ragtime: School Edition. Ragtime is a musical based on the 1975 novel by E.L. Doctorow and tells the story of three groups in America, represented by Coalhouse Walker Jr., a Harlem musician; Mother, the matriarch of a white upper-class family in New Rochelle, NY; and Tateh, a Latvian Jewish immigrant.

Performances will be held on Friday, May 4th, Saturday, May 5th beginning at 7 pm and on Sunday, May 6th at 3 pm. The final performance will be held on Saturday, May 12th at 7 pm.

Some of the topics within the play are considered sensitive. Parental guidance is suggested.
