Join Radford City for their Radford Goes Green event at Bisset Park on Saturday, April 28th.
The event will be held at Shelter #1 and features over 15 different vendors including:
- Children's crafts: Egg Carton Art and Newpaper Plant Holders
- Composting and Rain Barrel Demo
- Children's Bike Helmet Giveaway
- Outdoor Classroom Presentation
- Radford Transit
- Radford Farmer's Market
- NRV Go Green
- New River Resource Authority
And Much More...
There will also be a free raffle of Composting Bins and other giveaways for all those that attend.
During the same time as the Go Green Event, the Kodiak Shred-a-thon will be held in the parking lot behind the second shelter and the Radford City Fire Department will be holding their Drug Take Back event from 10 am - 2 pm.
