Open Air Shakespeare NRV presents Much Ado About Nothing at Historic Smithfield Plantation. Shows will be performed May 8th-12th at 7 pm and there will be an additional show on Sunday, May 13th at 2 pm.
This production will take place outdoors, in the case of inclement weather, the show will be moved indoors. Remember to bring your blankets and chairs!
This drama is one of the great comedy plays by William Shakespeare. The play revolves around two pairs of lovers, Beatrice and Benedick and Claudio and Hero. The main plot of the play revolves around obstacles to the union of the two young lovers - Claudio and Her. And, the love-hate relationship of Beatrice and Benedick features the "merry war" of the sexes.
