Join the Dionysus Theatre Company in a poetry jam which is a fundraiser for the company.

The Dionysus Theatre Company is a fledgling theatre company that was formed in September 2010 by Jessica McKinney and Rachel Sawyers. When the Pulaski Theatre was opened up in 1911, there was a large carving of Dionysus hung at the top of the outside of the building. Dionysus is the greek god of the grape harvest, wine-making, and also the driving force behind Greek theatre. (He is also known as the Roman god, Bacchus.) We decided to honor him in our naming of the theatre company.
