Description:
Join the Pulaski Fresh and Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce for the 2012 Blossom & Grow Race for Good Food Half Marathon, 5K and Kids Fun Run. The race will begin at the Draper Mercantile.
Schedule:
Free Kids Fun Run - 8:30 AM
Half Marathon - 9:00 AM
5K Run/Walk - 9:30 AM
Awards will be given in the 5K for top male and female finishers as well as the top three finishers in a variety of age groups.
Trophies will be awarded to the top male and female finisher and finishing medals to those who compete in the Half Marathon.
There will also be a drawing for door prizes and each runner gets 1 free ticket. Additional tickets are $1 each.
Pre-registration will be at the Pulaski County Visitor Center until April 16, 2012. Race day registration and packet pick-up will be from 7:30-8:30 AM at Draper Mercantile.
The Draper Mercantile is located at 3054 Greenbriar Road in Draper.
Pulaski Fresh is an all volunteer, non-profit community service organization supporting local foods, bringing consumers and producers together to enhance and promote a viable local foods economy in Southwest Virginia. The organization is comprised of Members, a Board of Directors, and Supporters.
