Bring on the lovers, liars, and clowns…add music, dance, and “Comedy Tonight” to complete the recipe for "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum".

The College of Visual and Performing Arts proudly presents Stephen Sondheim’s musical tour de farce, with a hilarious book Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart, and featuring RU’s talented theatre, dance, and music students.

Tickets are $8 for general admission, $5 for RU faculty and staff, $5 for senior discount (55+), $5 for group rates (more than 10) and free to students with RU ID.

Tickets for the Pridemore productions go on sale the week prior to the event at the Porterfield Box Office or by calling 540-831-5289. The box office is open from noon to 6 pm.
