Description:
The Performing Arts Institute of Virginia presents a faculty recital featuring pianist Inessa Borisovna and the music of Gershwin. Registration is required.
Inessa Borisovna is a successful award-winning professional musician with extensive experience performing, accompanying and teaching students of all ages.
Before joining the Artist Faculty of The Performing Arts Institute of Virginia in 2007, she served as a professional music teacher for The Rostropovich Music School in Baku, Azerbaijan, under the patronage of the world reknowned conductor, pianist and cellist, Mistislav Rostropovich, the late former music director and conductor of the The National Symphony Orchestra of Washington, D.C..
Since arriving in the U.S.A. she has performed as Guest Artist at Virginia Tech, for VANATS and for the Department of Music at Virginia Tech as well as guest organist for area churches.
The Performing Arts Institue of Virginia is located in the upper level of the Macado's Building located at 922 University City Boulevard in Blacksburg.
