Jim Guest, President and CEO of the internationally renowned Consumer Reports, will share the tools that his organization has created to motivate and focus concerned citizens. Guest is the inaugural speaker for the Alfred and Shirley Wampler Caudill Lecture in Consumer Affairs. His talk is entitled: "How to be a Smart Consumer and Engaged Scholar Activist in the 21st Century".
The Consumers Union and its Consumer Reports magazine are 75 years old. Mr. Guest will speak about that history and share his ideas on how we can all be better consumers in today’s markets and engage as scholars and citizens in consumer issues.
A Q&A session will follow the lecture.
