Description:
Waiting to Set It Off Because What’s Love Got to Do With It?: Exploring African-American Women and their Roles in Film and Media.
Through this interactive forum and panel discussion, we will explore the African American female portrayal in movies and media roles; especially those that serve as a brutal reminder of the racist, sexist, and classist social structures that continue to silence the voices of many.
The forum will be held in the Torgersen Museum (Room 1100) located on the first floor of Torgersen Hall.
