Cinema Illumination: Student Screenwriters' Table Reading
Theatre 101 (Virginia Tech)
Blacksburg
7:30 - 9:30 PM
Event Types: Arts & Theatre
Cost: Free
Description:
A script read-through, or "table reading," is one of the most important milestones in the filmmaking process, as it signals the beginning of a script's transition from words on a page to an actual motion picture.
Come join us for table readings of a handful of the best short screenplays produced in Prof. Paul Harrill's Advance Screenwriting/Directing class.
Some of these scripts will premiere at the Progeny Film Festival in May, and this is a chance to get a "first look" at these new productions.
Unless otherwise noted, events in Theatre 101 are free admission but a ticket is required. There are no advance sales or reservations. The Theatre 101 Ticket Office opens one hour before starting time for all events, and tickets are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. The theatre seats only 101 people, and there is limited seating for all events.
