The Anatomy of Frank is a Rock/Pop/Experimental band from Charlottesville, Virginia. Their music is based on a tug of war between pleasantness and dissonance. The Anatomy of Frank believes music is good for many things. Among these are dancing recklessly, sitting motionlessly, percolating, sobbing privately, weeping publicly, destroying things, getting into relationships, getting out of relationships, nurturing a good mood, enunciating a bad mood, entertaining a fantasy that you are more badass than your social situation allows you to be, accepting that you are average in many ways, believing that you are extraordinary in others, laughing, screaming, and jumping.

Faraday is a four-man alternative rock/indie group with too much time on its hands from Blacksburg, VA. Now, Faraday's busy playing shows in the area, as well as putting together a full debut album. Watch out.

Local musicians are showcased on Thursdays and Saturdays at 7 pm. Friday night shows will begin at 10 pm and be 18 and up only. NO DOOR COVER! Gillie's musicians play for TIPS every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
