A lot of businesses today, and the leaders within them, are setting themselves up for failure. The business is at a critical juncture and in order to take the next step, a key strategic hire needs to be made. The problem is, without knowing it, you may be looking for a unicorn!
Unicorns do exist. You may have several already working for you, but they are rare…and they are expensive. If you’re looking for a unicorn, you need to know the lay of the land, what it will cost you, and your likelihood of success. Once you secure a unicorn, you also need to know the proper care and maintenance to be sure the unicorn stays healthy and engaged. Or maybe you can define the scenario differently and improve your ability to be successful! Please join us on January 19th for a discussion about how to define and identify if you’re looking a unicorn, why we tend to seek them, and what alternatives may exist.
Discussion Points and Take-Aways:
1. Learn the risks and rewards of seeking and hiring unicorns.
2. Identify the many types of unicorns - those you seek and those you may already have working for you.
3. Lean how to negotiate with and secure the services of a unicorn and how to engage unicorns you’ve already hired so they don't wonder off.
4. Discover the alternatives to hiring unicorns and the trade-offs to your business.
