SpongeCake and the Fluff Ramblers is comprised of 6 members from 3 different states who get together to play live improvisation. Each member has original music they have composed and/or performed with others or all in the band. Everyone also has a favorite cover they like to play as well.

That being said every show is unique and completely off the cuff. Most every show consists of 90% of the material created in the moment, and the balance being a cover or 2, plus an original or 2, with nothing planned or rehearsed.

SpongeCake appeals to a wide variety of people and spans several genres making the music hard to categorize, but something we like to call Grazz Fusion. You are encouraged to tape/video any and all shows as the live improv is a vital part to the music and hard to replicate the vibe in the studio. To date there are hundreds of hours of live music and thousands of smiling faces.
