Drop in during the Greening the Holidays Open House and explore ways to find true holiday spirit by using less of the world's goods, reducing consumption and saving energy.
Sustainable Blacksburg’s hands-on stations will provide information about Recycled/Green Decorations & Gift Wrapping; Green Gifts; Local & Sustainable Holiday Food; and Reducing Energy Consumption for the Holidays.
Create your own earth-friendly holiday decorations to take home. Share your favorite Greening the Holidays idea and enter a drawing to win green gifts. Samples of local foods and hot beverages will be served.
