Description:
The RBTC Government Relations Committee identifies public policy matters that have a direct impact on our members. No single act has more direct impact on our members than the recent dramatic change in patent law in America. After years of criticism regarding the state of U.S. patent law, the America Invents Act was signed into law on September 16th. It is the most sweeping patent reform in half a century and will bring about considerable change in how patents are obtained and enforced in the United States. Please join us on November 17th as Jeff Mitchell reviews the highlights of the legislation and provides practical guidelines for dealing with the resulting changes to the patent law.
Presented by Jeff Mitchell of LeClairRyan.
Price includes breakfast. Registrations paid at the door are $30 regardless of membership status.
If you need to cancel a reservation, please do so at least 48 hours before the event to avoid being charged. For information about sponsoring future RBTC events, call 540-443-9232.
