Description:
On Friday, November 18 at 4 pm, the Alexander Black House and Cultural Center is sponsoring a guided tour through Westview Cemetery.

Guided by local historian April Danner, who has researched the graves of many of the Town's early citizens, the tour's primary focus will be the graves of soldiers from the Civil War, as well as some of the earliest graves in the cemetery and the history of the site. The tour is free and open to the public.

Parking will be along the right side of the cemetery's one lane road. Enter the site through the front gate (on the curve between Roanoke Street and Harding Avenue) and follow the road into the cemetery. The tour will begin at the flagpole near the entrance to the site.
