The Virginia Tech Geosciences Club and Honors Society presents the GeoFair and Mineral Sale on Saturday, October 15th at the Museum of Geosciences located at 2062 Derring Hall on the campus of Virginia Tech.
There will be hands on learning stations to explore mineral identification, fossils, rocks and water resources.
There will also be demonstrations of the new OmniGlobe, a spherical projection system that helps visualize earth processes.
And alumni dealers will have specimens for sale appropriate for students as well as collectors.
Free admission and parking. No credit cards will be accepted for the mineral sale. ATM's are located nearby.
