The show is entitled, "Good Music, Better Cause". All proceeds benefit a good friend of the musicians Missy Hypes who is battling cancer. The concert features Ever the Bear, Times New Roman and Friends of Fiends.

Ever the Bear is an alternative rock quartet from Blacksburg, VA. Combining pop sounds with rock roots, EvB (as their fans affectionately call them) is creating quite a stir in the local community. Their electric live show reaches directly into the crowd bringing their fans into the performance.

This same tenet is also mimicked in the self-management of the band. Fans are asked to help choose venues, singles, shirt designs, and even song titles. This grassroots fan-oriented attitude is why you're sure to see them in your music library soon. After watching a set or chatting with the band you'll never wonder why fans continue to sing, "Turn it up!"

In an increasingly stark music scene in a small town in Southwestern Virginia, things take a turn for the better as a bedraggled Friends Of Fiends crawls from the mountains. With a sound best described as rowdy and unkempt, an aroma as intense as their live performances, and enough facial and body hair to make even the most seasoned woodsmen glare, Friends Of Fiends is stirring. With sweat being the single largest contributor, the soon to be released "We're All" EP is only the thunder high in the hills, indicative of the obstreperous storm to come.
