Description:
Charles Lytton will talk about his book New River bonnets, apple butter, and moonshine. Lytton is a lifelong resident of Southwest Virginia, a professional storyteller and a self-described “Appalachian boy.” His childhood is rich with memories, many of them about the preparation of food and the personalities of family members. Books will be available for purchase, and the author will sign books after the program.
This is the Annual Meeting of Friends of the Montgomery-Floyd Regional Library. A short business meeting with election of officers will be held prior to Mr. Lytton's discussion. Refreshments for this program are provided by the Friends of the Library.
