Michael Abraham of Blacksburg has been wandering the hills of the central Appalachians for over 50 years by car, motorcycle, bicycle, and on foot. His interest in the people, culture, and history of the region has given birth to a new book Harmonic Highways-Motorcycling Virginia's Crooked Road.
Abraham is well-known throughout the region for his work as a contributing writer to the Current, the New River Edition of the Roanoke Times, and his frequent articles in Blue Ridge Country and other regional magazines.
Abraham will be reading from and signing his book at a presentation at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 16th at the Christiansburg Library located at 125 Sheltman Street.
