Lyric Theatre Late Night and WUVT are taking it to 11 with this midnight showing of This Is Spinal Tap.
Join us as we follow Spinal Tap, the world's loudest band, on their ill-fated 1982 comeback tour. This is Spinal Tap finds band members David St. Hubbins, Derek Smalls, and Nigel Tufnel embarking on their first American tour in years with documentary film maker Marti DeBergi. The resulting documentary, interspersed with powerful performances of Tap's pivotal music and profound lyrics, candidly follows a rock group heading towards crisis, culminating in the infamous affair of the eighteen-inch-high Stonehenge stage prop.
