Description:
To close Sustainability Week there will be a variety of demonstrations and presentations. These will be held in two locations.

- Room 114 in the VT Architecture Annex Building. (Follow signs from Draper Road and through the Media Building parking lots toward the VT Graduate Life Center Building. The Annex is the second red-brick building on your right.)

- Under the large tent on the VT Media Building lawn, immediately across from the Blacksburg Farmer’s Market.

The demonstrations and presentations include:

Events at Room 114 in Architecture Annex:
- 8 am - 2pm – Build Your Own Rain Barrel Workshop
- 11:30 am - 12:30 pm - Looking at Nature with a Different Eye: Protecting Blacksburg's Environment By Protecting Nature's Services
- 1-2 pm - Green Roofs are Growing in Blacksburg

Events at Large Tent on VT Media Building Lawn:
- 9-9:30 am - Winterizing Your Garden Workshop
- 9:30-10 am - Bees
- 10-11 am - Conservation of Home Energy
- 11 am - 12 pm - Grass Fed Beef is Green
- 12-1 pm - Vermicomposting (Worm Cultivation)
- 1-2 pm - Composting 101
- 2-3 pm - Lawns, Garden & Landscapes Done Sustainably
- 2-3 pm - Association of Energy Conservation Professionals (AECP)
- 2-3 pm - Blacksburg's Bicycle & Pedestrian Master Plan

There will be a few other demonstrations and presentations as well.
