This session is designed primarily for business owners, employers, and students who would like to improve their business processes. Lean allows business owners to do more with less, thereby saving raw materials, energy, labor, and other costs.

By vastly reducing waste, Lean contributes to more sustainable business and manufacturing processes. LEAN@VirginiaTech®, a student-driven, faculty-supported initiative, provides an overview about the Lean philosophy and the principles of a successful Lean transformation.

This session will be conducted in the Brush Mountain A Conference Room.
