Apple Bud Grafting Workshop Taught by Horticulturist Barry Robinson at the orchard at Historic Smithfield Plantation.

Grafting and budding are horticultural techniques used to join parts from two or more plants so that they appear to grow as a single plant. Bud Grafting consists of inserting a bit of growing material from one plant into another in order to change the growth or fruiting habits of the plant.

Registration is $5.00 per person with take home root stock available for $8.00.
