Roscoe P. & Coal Train is a 6 member string band which performs old time and Appalachian dance music and singing tunes. Our musical influence is primarily from Southwest Virginia, North Carolina, West Virginia, East Tennessee and East Kentucky. Our repertoire is quite extensive and includes many tunes in the style of reels, hornpipes, waltzes, breakdowns, rags and blues to name a few.
