Description:
NOTE: Unfortunately do to unforeseen circumstances the Montgomery County Parks and Recreation Department has had to cancel this year's Coalminer Shuffle.

Join the Montgomery County Parks and Recreation for one of the few races on the Huckleberry Trail and the only race to feature the Coal Miner Heritage Park Loop Trail.

This event will host two different races: a 3.2 mile (5K) race and a 6.54 mile (10.5K) race. The 3.2 mile race will strictly be held on the Huckleberry Trail while the 6.54 mile race will feature the brand new Coal Miner Heritage Park Loop Trail.

Both races will start and finish at the trail entrance behind the movie theatre at the New River Valley Mall (Christiansburg).

The 10.5K race will begin at 9 am and the 5K race will begin at 9:05 am. Day of registrations will end a half hour before the races begin at 8:30 am.
