Description:
Once the sun’s done beatin’ down on the Lou’siana swamps, the frogs start singin’ and the air gets real thick, and the triangle starts beatin’ out the rhythm of the fiddle tune. There’s still time to get your gumbo before the dancin’ starts, but don’t be too long, or you may miss the jolie petite fille that’s had her eye on ye.

Dance lessons at 8:15 pm, show at 9:00 pm.

The Billy Coteau Cajun Band has been singin’ les chants de nostalgie et de la tragédie of the bayous of Blacksburg for a coon’s age. They ain’t been bit by a gator yet, which is sayin’ sumpn.

Cajun dance is built on a low down, lilty, leany step that’s already in ya. We’ll help you find it, then show ya what to do with it.
