The Little Bookworm presents a Science Saturday with the theme "Learn About DNA" on Saturday, June 27, 2026. Learn about the structure of DNA and build your own candy model! The activity turns candy into a perfect example of the double-helix structure of DNA and the nucleotides that is is made of. The program will be led by Virginia Tech graduate student Abbi Green who is studying Genetics, Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. The event is free and no registration is required.
