The Wilderness Road Regional Museum presents the 2026 Pulaski County Juneteenth Celebration on Sunday, June 21, 2026. Juneteenth is back to Wilderness Road Regional Museum this year! Enjoy a community quilting activity, educational displays, and a screening of “Stitched Together,” a documentary produced by Calfee Community and Cultural Center. Stitched Together weaves past and present to tell the powerful story of 23 courageous families who joined a historic 1947 lawsuit demanding equal educational opportunities for Black children, alongside the present-day community that has come together to learn about and honor their legacy. Learn about the 23/54 quilt produced to honor the lives of the students and parents of Calfee Training School that brought the first case that eventually lead to Brown vs. Board of Education.
