The Jessie Peterman Library presents Ukulele Learning and Jamming on Saturday, June 20, 2026. Have a ukulele that's just hanging around your house? Now is the time to learn! First half hour will be the basics, or a refresher. Followed by a beginner friendly jam, featuring classics from the 60s to today's favorites. Floyd's favorite ukulele lady, Mim, will be leading this program. No experience necessary. Bring your own instrument. If you don't have a uke, we will have limited loaners for this program. For ages 13 and up are welcome. The Jessie Peterman Library is located at 321 West Main Street in Floyd, VA.
