Description: Floyd Country Tourism presents the 1st Annual Floyd Farm Trail Open Farm Day at six participating farms throughout Floyd County, Virginia on Sunday, June 14, 2026.

Six local, small-scale plant and animal farms will welcome visitors for and up-close educational and entertaining tours, talks, and demos about how and why they grow food for the community. From farm stores and tours to mini workshops and plant walks, discover the heart of farming in our community!

Farm Tour Stops:
• Floyd Eco-Village & I-Tal Acres - 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM (188 EcoVillage Trail, Floyd, VA):
Know your weeds plant walk at noon with Ed Skopal at the Learning Garden next to the farm store. Tours at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM.

• Riverstone Organic Farm: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM (708 Thompson Road, Floyd, VA)
Tours at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM & 3:00 PM. Farm Store is open from 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM.

• Lil Valley Farm - 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM (8318 Huff Mill Road, Copper Hill, VA):
Self-guided walking tours. Guests can do blueberries u-pick (weather dependent) and cost depends on weight.

• Weathertop Farm: 10:45 AM - 4:30 PM (963 Eanes Road, Check VA):
Meet the pasture and the animals who graze upon it featuring lambs, piglets, and chicks. Farm Store Open. Tours at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM.

• Kat The Farmer: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM (407 Diamond Knob, Check VA):
Mini Workshops: 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM. Taste & Smell Tour at 3:00 PM for Kids, stroll around the farmlet, shop the farmstand (10:00 AM-6:00 PM) and plant sale.

• Seven Springs Farm and CSA: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM (424 Jerry Lane, Check, VA):
Learn about Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) at one of the longest running CSA’s in the nation. Tours at 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM.

Participants will drive from farm to farm; carpooling is encouraged. Bring family and friends, but please leave pets at home.

Admission is free to all the farms.

Food and/or products will be available for purchase at most of the farms and businesses.
