Warm Hearth Village hosts the Blacksburg Community Band Memorial Day Concert on Sunday, May 24, 2026 at the Warm Hearth Village Center. UPDATE: We were hoping to be out on the Warm Hearth patio tomorrow (SUNDAY at 1:00 PM), but the weather isn’t likely to cooperate. So everyone should join us inside the Warm Hearth Village Center instead for a concert honoring our heroes. Join the Blacksburg Community Band as we remember our heroes at our Memorial Day Concert. We will be playing at the Warm Hearth Village Center, but the concert is absolutely free and open to the public. We will honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice with a selection of carefully selected meaningful and patriotic tunes. We hope you can share it with us. The Blacksburg Community Band, Inc. is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit community organization formed in 1989 under the auspices of the Department of Parks and Recreation in the Town of Blacksburg, Virginia. The ensemble is open to individuals of all ages and ability levels from the New River Valley and surrounding areas and performs in an average of 20 concerts each year throughout the New River Valley. The band was incorporated in Virginia as a non-profit corporation in 2007.
