Claytor Lake State Park presents a Mother's Day Wildflower Walk on Sunday, May 10, 2026. Gift your mother some flowers by joining our rangers on a hike to the Claytor Lake Overlook to see what flowers are blooming before they go dormant for the summer. The trail is about 2.5 miles long so good walking shoes and water are recommended. If there are any accommodations, please reserve the All Terrain Wheelchair by visiting this link at https://www.dcr.virginia.gov/state-parks/all-terrain-wheelchairs.
