Description: The Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine presents their Annual Open House on Saturday, April 18, 2026.

Discover how we're making a difference in the world of veterinary medicine and public health. Meet faculty, tour the college, learn about our programs, and enjoy food and activities. This is the perfect chance to explore how we can join hands in protecting and improving animal, human, and environmental health.

Take a tour with exclusive access to the college's behind-the-scenes facilities and Veterinary Teaching Hospital! Led by students, tours in groups of ten leave the commons every 15 minutes.

Admission is free and the event is open to the community and family-friendly.

Food trucks scheduled to be onsite include Countryman Jamaican Grill, Dockside 2 Curbside, Delicia's Gourmet Ice, Coca-Cola Beverage Tent and Space Rabbit (inside).

There are several parking lots near the college, but we recommend parking in the Veterinary Medicine Lot across from the college or the Duck Pond Lot.

Golf carts will be available all day to shuttle participants from the parking lot to the front and back of the building.

Note: For the safety of patients at the hospital and open house demonstration animals, we ask that guests do not bring pets to the event.
