Studio Appalachia presents MidWinter’s Poetry on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Odd Fellows Building Lodge #20 (Wilson Avenue). Enjoy an evening of poetry and music by Spectral Arts, Soupbone and art by Project Morning Star. Produced by Studio Appalachia. Spectral Arts formed in the winter of 2007 in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and combines live acoustic music with poetry that is both spoken and sung. The Appalachian band features regular band members as well as local guests. The music and poetry have been described as transcendental and embodying a beautiful, as well as an ethereal, visionary quality.
