The Blacksburg Farmers Market presents their regular farmers market with live music from Tim Thornton on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Market Square Park. The Blacksburg Farmers Market offers local meats, organic produce, baked goods, crafts, flowers and more in the heart of downtown Blacksburg! Tim Thornton will perform from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Tim Thornton is an award-winning local writer. He teaches English Composition and Appalachian literature at Virginia Western Community College. Tim lives in Shawsville, VA with his family. The Wednesday Market is open from April through November from 2:00-6:00 PM. From November-December, the Saturday hours change to 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. From January-March, the Saturday hours change to 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Market Square Park is located at 100 Draper Road in Blacksburg, VA.
