Chateau Morrisette presents Matt Johnson in concert on Sunday, August 3, 2025. Matt Johnson is an R&B singer and songwriter from the central Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. He delivers a unique R&B sound along with powerful performances. In 2018, he was a contestant and performed on "The Voice" on Jennifer Hudson's team. He started performing at a young age around the Shenandoah Valley in various productions and has been entertaining the masses ever since. More recently Matt has performed across the country. In 2015 Johnson's previous band Moon headlined The National Theater in Richmond, Virginia. He also recorded with Charlottesville legend, Butch Taylor, the longtime touring keyboardist for Dave Matthews Band.
