Merc Farms in Thee Draper Village presents the August Draper Village Heritage Market with the theme "Backyard BBQ Bash" on Saturday, August 2, 2025. Join us at Merc Farms for our monthly Heritage Market, our take on a farmers market inspired by the heritage and traditions of Southwest Virginia. We have local vendors from fresh and natural meats, to homemade soaps, handmade jewelry, fresh produce, bakes goods, and more. Our August Market will be inspired by outdoor summer cookouts, with games and delicious BBQ! We will have the library bringing a fun children's activity, a local firetruck that will be spraying a hose and possibly doing a truck tour, outdoor games, merc street food, and more! There will be food available at the market, but if you plan to dine in at The Draper Mercantile, please be sure to make a reservation in advance. Admission is free and all are welcome. Located in the heart of Draper, VA, the Draper Village Heritage Market is a vibrant gathering place that celebrates our community’s rich heritage, craftsmanship, and agricultural roots. Experience the best of local arts, crafts, and food while enjoying workshops, hands-on demonstrations, and interactive exhibits that honor traditions and promote sustainable living.
