The Mount Tabor Ruritan Club continues their 2025 Fish Fry season with the Blacksburg Community Band performing on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Slusser's Chapel Church of God in Blacksburg, VA. Serving Fish, Fries, Slaw, Homemade Desserts, and Beverage. This month the Blacksburg Community Band will be playing for us. Carry-outs will be available. The Blacksburg Community Band, Inc. is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit community organization formed in 1989 under the auspices of the Department of Parks and Recreation in the Town of Blacksburg, Virginia. The ensemble is open to individuals of all ages and ability levels from the New River Valley and surrounding areas and performs in an average of 20 concerts each year throughout the New River Valley. The band was incorporated in Virginia as a non-profit corporation in 2007.
