The Fine Arts Center of the New River Valley's Blacksburg location presents Afternoon Music with Leslie Brooks on Saturday, May 3, 2025. Leslie has delivered crowd-pleasing concerts during our First Friday Listening Room series, and we are excited to welcome her once again! Leslie Brooks is a singer-songwriter performing on guitar with her eclectic vocal style playing jazz, soulful ballads, folk, country blues, rockin' country, Americana and popular favorites. A seasoned performer and accomplished guitarist, she has traveled the U.S. and abroad, weaving her experiences into heartfelt songs. She has played the best venues in a 16-state area, as well as in Norway and Monte Carlo. Opened for Heart, James Taylor, Bob Margolin and Willie Nelson to name a few. With six records to her name and a history of acclaimed performances, Brooks continues to craft music that resonates with authenticity and deep storytelling.
