Watch the Virginia Tech Softball team compete against non-conference opponent opponent the University of Charlotte on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Tech Softball Park. Note: The start time has been moved up to 5:00 PM from the originally scheduled 6:00 PM. It's Carnival Night. Get ready for the show! Fans are invited to Tech Softball Park for a carnival-themed adventure with games, entertainment, and more. Get geared up to cheer on the Hokies with a free custom balloon twisted by our Balloon Artist before the game. Fans may meet campus favorite Ringo the Patrol Pony and Residence Life Resource Officer Cpl. John Tarter on the concourse before the game. At every midweek game, fans can pick up a bingo card at the Promotions Table for a chance to win a great Hokies prize. Limit one card per person. While fans usually get a pick of their prize when they win Bingo, we're taking a unique spin on Carnival Night and letting the Prize Wheel determine what you win! Admission is free and all are welcome. No tickets are required for Hokie Softball games. Parking is available behind the outfield at Tech Softball Park and enter along the right field side of the stadium. Stands open one hour prior to the start of the game. All general admission fans should enter along the third base side of Tech Softball Park. Due to the outdoor nature of this event, we encourage you to visit the website linked below or contact the university to ensure the event has not been postponed or cancelled due to weather conditions.
