UPDATE: Due to the inclement weather, the January Contra Dance has been cancelled. The Floyd Contra Dance presents their January Contra Dance on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at The Floyd Center for the Arts. Dance Schedule: • 7:00 PM: Beginner Lesson • 7:30-10:30 PM: Contra Dance Join us for the January Contra Dance with music from The Rythmajigs and Virginia Varland calling. No experience or partner needed. Admission is $10.00 per person. All are welcome. Dress is casual and soft-soled shoes that glide work the best. Dances will continue monthly on every second Saturday, September through May. If you feel sick or were recently exposed to someone with symptoms of an illness that may be contagious, please stay home and take care of yourself, so we can see you at our next dance.
