The Floyd Center for the Arts presents the special December Floyd and Blacksburg Combined Contra Dance on Saturday, December 14, 2024. Dance Schedule: • 7:00 PM: Beginner Lesson • 7:30-10:30 PM: Contra Dance Join us for the special combined December Contra Dance with Blacksburg Contra Dance with music from Andrew Carter and Friends and Joy Greenwolfe calling. No experience or partner needed. Admission is $10.00 per person. All are welcome. Dress is casual and soft-soled shoes that glide work the best. Dances will continue monthly on every second Saturday, September through May. If you feel sick or were recently exposed to someone with symptoms of an illness that may be contagious, please stay home and take care of yourself, so we can see you at our next dance.
