Volunteer Montgomery and Christiansburg Parks & Rec presents their 17th Annual Supplies for Seniors Walk-A-Thon on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at the Christiansburg Recreation Center. Anyone can register to walk. We will be walking on the track at the Christiansburg Recreation Center. You can walk whatever length of time or distance you wish. One lap around the track equals 1/8 mile. A minimum pre-registration of $15.00 is required for adults and $10.00 is required for children. Please let us know your desired t-shirt size when completing registration. Ask everyone you know (family, neighbors, church members, etc.) to sponsor you to walk. The money you collect will be used to purchase household supplies for 245 homebound seniors and veterans in the area.
