The McConnell Library, on the campus of Radford University, continues their Music Mondays series with Bruce Mahin on Monday, October 30, 2023 inside the Bird Room. Radford University music professor Bruce Mahin will perform new music in his unique style of electrified Americana! Trailblazing singer songwriter Bruce Mahin uses Ableton and Max/MSP to augment his solo performances with a wide variety of pre-recorded and spontaneous musical instruments. The combination of traditional folk music influences, live improvisation, and interactive technology has prompted his music to be called New Wave Americana. It has something for every generation and every musical taste.
