Sinkland Farms kicks off their 32nd Annual Pumpkin Festival on Saturday, September 30, 2023 and Sunday, October 1, 2023. Pumpkin Festival Schedule (Friday, Sept. 29th - Sunday, Oct. 29th): • Fridays: 4:00-8:00 PM (limited) • Saturdays & Sundays: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM (full schedule) The opening weekend features Punkin' Chunkin' from world champion Team Carbo and an Amateur Dog Show. Team Carbo will use their catapult to launch pumpkins hundreds of feet into the sky. The Amateur Dog Show is at noon with prizes for the winners. The 32nd Annual Pumpkin Festival features five weekends of fun, open every Friday with limited activities and on Saturday and Sundays with a full schedule of fun. Each weekend is jam-packed with activities and fun for the whole family! Hayrides to the pumpkin patch featuring over 25 different varieties of pumpkins, squashes & gourds, make your way through a mind boggling 5 acre corn maze and visit with Sinkland's farm animals. We feature Ride-a-Rescue horseback trail rides every Saturday & Sunday ($13.00), pony rides ($7.00), a huge kid’s zone with a barrel train ride, giant slide, kids zip line ($1.00 for 2 zips) and many games. Plus the NEW Super Mega Ride-n-Slide, 150 feet long and fast (ride all day for $5.00)! Kids of all ages can see tractors and our other farm equipment. Have your face painted ($3.00-$10.00) and look for the Scarecrow on weekends! Plus, enjoy live entertainment with food trucks and adult beverages on-site. We have been voted the Best Pumpkin Patch in Virginia and Best Farm to Visit. Weekend Music Schedule from 1:00-4:00 PM: • Saturday: LP Kelly • Sunday: Jerry Wimmer Sinkland's entertainment includes blacksmith demonstrations, local live music every Saturday & Sunday, Acapella groups, pig racing and watch the big screen TVs for weekend football games. The festival grounds also include the area's most noted Arts & Crafts vendors and Pop-up Boutiques. Admission includes parking, hayride to the pumpkin patch, corn maze, live music and entertainment, Kidz Zone games, access to food trucks, local vendors and more. General admission on Saturdays & Sundays is $15.00, $14.00 for seniors, military & first responders and free for children 3 & under.
