The Town of Blacksburg and the Mount Tabor Ruritan Club present the 35th Annual July 4th Parade with the theme "Blacksburg - A Special Place for 225 Years" on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 in downtown Blacksburg, Virginia starting at 2:00 pm. Enjoy floats, bicycles, wagons, marchers, walkers, antique and classic cars, race cars, horses, fire engines, scouts, bands, sports teams and more in the annual Blacksburg 4th of July Parade. This year's theme is "Blacksburg - A Special Place for 225 Years". The parade route begins at the old Blacksburg Middle School property at the corner of Eheart and Main Street and runs through downtown on South Main Street ending at Alumni Mall near Virginia Tech's Drillfield. The parade starts at 2:00 pm and the line-up begins at 1:30 pm. Admission is free and all are welcome. Parade entry is free. Beginning at 6:00 PM, the Blacksburg Parks & Rec Department will have music, food and entertainment at the Blacksburg Municipal Park ending with fireworks starting around 9:30 PM.
