Alpha Omega Epsilon presents a Holiday Movie Night Fundraiser featuring "Elf" on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at The Lyric Theatre. Alpha Omega Epsilon (AOE), a technical science and engineering sorority at Virginia Tech, is holding a movie fundraiser at the Lyric with a showing of Elf! This classic holiday movie is fun for the whole family, allows students to relax before finals too and benefits both AOE and their philanthropy, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). "Elf" is a 2003 family comedy starring Will Ferrell, James Caan and Bob Newhart and is rated PG. After inadvertently wreaking havoc on the elf community due to his ungainly size, a man raised as an elf at the North Pole is sent to the United States in search of his true identity and his father.
